OPENING A SHARE TYPE ACCOUNT

 

 

 

1.   Access the member=s account in Program #2.

 

2.   Press >Home= and the >Up Arrow= to highlight >Share Deposits=.  Press >Enter= to select this transaction type.

 

3.  Enter the letter which designates the share type account to be opened.

 

4.  Choose transaction code #249 OS OPEN-NEW SHARE-ACCOUNT.

 

5.  Press >HOME= to select this transaction.  >N/A= will appear in both the >PRIOR-SHARE-BALANCE= and >Enter TRANSACTION (DOLLAR) AMOUNT= fields.

 

6.  Press >F11= to view the voucher.

 

7.  >OPEN-NEW-SHARE-ACCOUNT= will be flashing and the transaction amount will be 0.00.  Enter your Teller Password to post the transaction.

 

8.  The share type is now opened and ready for you to post transactions.
