ADDING CASH FROM VAULT
In order for Program #7 Option I to tell
you how much cash should be in your drawer at the end of the day it is
necessary for you to enter into the computer not only funds received and given
to members, but also funds from and to the vault or the bank. When these activities are recorded correctly
the system will tell each teller how much cash should be in their drawer, and
also reflect the net change made to the entire Change Fund balance in the
credit union.
The following procedure explains how
transactions should be done which affect your cash balance but not a member=s
account. All of these entries are made
using the >CASH
DRAWER DETAIL= window. This
procedure instructs you to reach this window via Program #7 Option I. This allows the >F1' and >F2' AHotkeys@ to
work (as explained in the procedure) and does not require that you print a
voucher.
You can also access this window via Program
#2, but you must print (or clear) the voucher when you are finished, and the AHotkeys@ do
not work. To access the >CASH
DRAWER DETAIL= window in Program #2, you must put the cursor in the >Account
Number=
field, then press the >F12'
key.
